A2 ghee is made from the milk of native Indian cow breeds such as Gir, whose milk contains mainly the A2 type of beta-casein protein. Tattvam's A2 ghee is made from Gir cow milk using the traditional bilona method.
Bilona ghee is made the traditional way: milk is first set into curd, the curd is hand-churned (bilona) into butter, and the butter is slowly heated into ghee. Most commercial ghee is made directly from cream and skips the curd stage. The bilona process gives ghee its rich aroma and grainy texture.
Yes. Tattvam's A2 Gir cow ghee is made without added preservatives, artificial colours or artificial flavours. Our products are FSSAI certified.
Wood cold-pressed (kachi ghani) oil is made by crushing seeds slowly in a wooden press, without external heat or chemical solvents. This keeps the oil's natural aroma, colour and character. Tattvam's black mustard oil is cold-pressed.
